01 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is FourPoint?

FourPoint is the parent brand for a growing family of practical technology products.

What is FourConnect?

FourConnect is the planned core FourPoint platform: a connected environment where people can discover products and services, connect with independent providers and businesses, and coordinate related activity in one place. The goal is to reduce the friction caused by fragmented services, not to make every provider the same.

What is FourAPI?

FourAPI is FourPoint’s document-conversion API for approved applications. Its twelve endpoints also power selected FourDOC tools. Developers can apply for individual access and use private API keys, documented integration examples and daily allowances.

What is FourPrint?

FourPrint is a printing product in development that is designed to let customers submit documents using a station-specific QR code at participating businesses.

What is FourConvert?

FourConvert is a planned FourPoint document-conversion tool. Supported formats and release information will be published when they are confirmed.

Do customers need a FourPoint account to print?

The intended FourPrint customer flow does not require a customer account. The complete workflow and privacy safeguards still need to be verified before public release.

Is FourPrint available to download?

Check the Downloads page for the current listing and release status. Public download buttons appear only when a release is marked available and its file links are configured.

03 / CORE PLATFORM

FourConnect

Different services. One connected point.

FourConnect is the bigger FourPoint platform concept. Everyday tasks can involve finding a product, booking a service, communicating with a provider, arranging delivery, and tracking what happens next across separate tools. FourConnect aims to bring those related steps into a more coherent experience while allowing providers and businesses to remain independent.

The platform vision spans consumers, independent professionals, small businesses, and larger organizations. Its prototype and ideas are still being tested, and feedback helps shape what gets built.

FourPrint principles

Privacy-first QR printing

FourPrint is in development for participating print-provider businesses. Customers will be able to scan a station-specific QR code, submit a document from their phone, select provider-approved print settings, and print without creating a customer account.

01

Privacy by design

Document handling should be minimized and protected throughout the print flow.

02

Business control

Businesses should control which printers and print preferences are available at each station.

03

Clear customer flow

Customers should be able to submit a document from a phone without unnecessary account creation.

06 / DEVELOPER ACCESS

FourAPI connects your application to document conversion.

FourAPI

CONNECT. BUILD. SCALE.

Explore FourAPI →

FourAPI provides twelve document-conversion endpoints over HTTPS. Apply for one of five individual developer places, then use your dashboard to manage API keys, review usage and try the documented integrations. Current access includes twenty successful conversions per account per UTC day, subject to the shared service limit. Selected FourDOC conversions already use this service.

07 / SHARED IDENTITY

FourAuth

One sign-in experience, separate permissions

FourAuth is the planned shared sign-in and authorization layer for eligible FourPoint products. Each product will still check its own permissions, so signing in does not automatically grant access to every business, printer, or administrative action.
